Fodi Kyriakos announced as AXREM’s Vice Convenor of the AXREM Teleradiology Working Group
03 September 2026
AXREM is delighted to announce the appointment of Fodi as Vice Convenor of the AXREM Teleradiology Working Group. Fodi will support Working Group Convenor Ben Tromans and work alongside members from across the AXREM community to champion best practice, drive innovation and support the safe, effective and equitable use of teleradiology services within UK healthcare.
Fodi Kyriakos is currently a Strategic Advisor at Medica and is a recognised leader in UK teleradiology and radiology workforce development, with more than 25 years’ experience across the NHS, independent sector and medical technology industry. Founder of RIG Reporting, the UK’s first external X-ray reporting service, he went on to build one of the UK’s leading teleradiology reporting services following its acquisition by InHealth Group in 2016, and now serves as Strategic Advisor at Medica. He is also Founder of the Skilled Personnel Network, one of the UK’s largest professional radiography communities and is widely recognised for championing collaboration, education and workforce innovation across the profession.
The AXREM Teleradiology Working Group brings together suppliers of remote radiology reporting services in a vendor-neutral, member-led forum to share insights, address common challenges and promote high-quality standards across the sector. Its key priorities are improving NHS procurement processes and raising awareness of the role teleradiology plays in supporting workforce resilience, reducing reporting backlogs and improving equitable access to diagnosis and treatment planning across the UK. The Group views teleradiology not as a replacement for NHS radiology teams, but as a strategic partner in delivering safe, effective and equitable patient care.
AXREM Teleradiology Working Group Convenor, Ben Tromans said:
“I am delighted to welcome Fodi to the role of Vice Convenor of the AXREM Teleradiology Working Group. Fodi brings a wealth of experience, deep industry knowledge and a longstanding commitment to advancing radiology services across the UK.
