AXREM Host Inaugural Future Leaders Council Meeting and Appoint First FLC Chair

Share

Following the announcement of the AXREM Future Leaders Council back in January and the subsequent announcement of the council members in February, we are pleased to advise that the inaugural meeting took place on 17th March at our offices in London.

This new initiative is an exciting development for AXREM and part of the associations development strategy, and being able to engage with industry professionals at a much earlier stage in their career.

The first meeting was an opportunity for the council members to meet and network with fellow members of the council, discuss what they want the FLC to be and what they think the key priorities for the group should be. The meeting ended with some clear focuses and deliverables that AXREM look forward to working with this group of industry professionals to achieve.

Furthermore the group appointed a Chair of the group, and AXREM are pleased to announce that our first Future Leaders Chair is Toby Heath, Marketing & Communications Manager at Fujifilm Healthcare UK, who will complete an initial term of 6 months and as part of his role will also sit on the AXREM Executive Committee.

Toby Heath said upon his appointment of Future Leaders Council Chair “I am delighted to be the inaugural chair of the Future Leaders Council, it’s such an exciting concept and I truly believe that we can help drive real change across Healthcare. On behalf of the companies that we represent as part of AXREM and most importantly for the patients that we help to diagnose and treat. I look forward to working with the rest of the council on the already brilliant ideas that we have put forward.”

Sally Edgington, AXREM Chief Executive Officer said after the first meting “It was great to meet all of our future leaders council members in person and see their passion and commitment for the industry and for wanting to make a difference to patients treatment, care pathways and outcomes. Following the first meeting and the discussion of priorities we identified I am excited to see where we  can take this work, and look forward to working with each of the FLC members to achieve some great things.

I would also like to congratulate Toby Heath on his appointment at Chair of the Future Leaders Council, and I look forward to working closely with Toby over the coming months to see how we can develop and gain momentum”.
