AXREM Appoints New Chair

Ila Dobson, Director Strategic Accounts, NHS Supply Chain, Procurement, Government Relations at GE Healthcare has stepped up with immediate effect as Chair of AXREM. Ila has been Vice Chair since earlier this year but has been part of the Executive Committee for many years.
Following the resignation of Grant Witheridge as Chairman of AXREM after announcing he will be leaving Agfa with a career spanning 25 years and as Managing Director, Grant said upon his leaving “I’ve had a fantastic career with Agfa, but after 25 years it is definitely now time for a new challenge! I have thoroughly enjoyed working with AXREM over these past years, and wanted to say a sincere thank you for that experience. We have a great team at AXREM and we really achieve so much for the industry which is highly rewarding. I have particularly enjoyed my time as chair and am sorry to leave that position early”.
Sally Edgington AXREM Director said “Grant took over as Chairman just before I started with AXREM just over a year ago and has been a fantastic mentor helping me get up to speed with industry initiatives and topics, I wish Grant well in his future endeavors and hope our paths cross again in the future”.
