Siemens Healthineers Appoints New Managing Director for Great Britain and Ireland

Siemens Healthineers has appointed Guilherme Marques as managing director for Great Britain and Ireland. He will join the Siemens Healthineers Europe leadership team led by Sonja Wehsely and succeeds Ghada Trotabas, who takes on the global role of head of Enterprise Services.
Guilherme brings more than 25 years of international healthcare leadership experience to the role. His career spans leadership positions in commercial operations, services, imaging, diagnostics, marketing, strategy and sales. Across these roles, he has focused on strengthening customer partnerships, developing talent and bringing organisations together around shared goals.
Since March 2024, Guilherme has led global commercial lab solutions at Siemens Healthineers. He has been responsible for an international organisation of more than 2,000 colleagues supporting commercial operations across North and South America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
His previous positions include president of Siemens Healthineers in Latin America and head of diagnostic imaging for Latin America. He has also led the ultrasound and X-ray businesses in Brazil and held roles across services, marketing, strategy and sales.

Ghada Trotabas has led Siemens Healthineers Great Britain and Ireland since 2022. In her new global position as head of Enterprise Services, she will succeed João Seabra and report to Elisabeth Staudinger, managing board member of Siemens Healthineers.
