BIR AI Congress 27-28 March 2025, London

The BIR AI Congress returns 27–28 March 2025 for its 8th year in a central position in the UK AI sphere. This year’s Congress continues to showcase AI in the NHS dealing with AI strategy, government policy, ethics, governance, post-market surveillance and future scoping.

The plenary speaker, Lord Holmes of Richmond MBE will be discussing his Artificial Intelligence (Regulation) Bill on Day 1 on of our AI Congress 2025.

Chris’ private members’ bill – The Artificial Intelligence [Regulation] Bill – was introduced to Parliament in November 2023 and made it through all Lords stages before being lost in wash up when the General Election was announced. He has reintroduced the bill and explains why he is still pressing the Government to do more on regulating AI.

Lord Holmes has been very passionate about digital technology for the public good, with a particular interest in technologies such as AI and Blockchain.
