AXREM Strategy Day a Success – New Vision & Mission Announced

Members of the AXREM Executive Committee recently came together to discuss the associations strategy for the short, medium and long term with the day being a huge success.
The association is recognised as a leading Healthcare Trade Association representing a high proportion of diagnostic medical imaging, radiotherapy, healthcare IT manufacturers and suppliers in the UK, with members supplying most of the diagnostic medical imaging and radiotherapy equipment installed in UK hospitals.
During the day we debated key industry topics and issues deciding upon our priorities, how we can broaden our scope and engage with members most effectively, and how we can add value by collaborating with external organisations. Work on all of this has started with many changes over the last 12 months, but the day enabled there to be more focus and identify the priorities.
The Executive Committee also agreed on a AXREM Vision and Mission:
Vision:
‘To be the leading authority representing manufacturers of diagnostic imaging, radiotherapy and associated digital innovations.’
Mission:
‘To bring our industry leading expertise and technology together to improve the effectiveness of healthcare delivery and ultimately the health of the nation’.
Being part of a trade association enables our members to be part of a bigger and stronger voice, share best practice, set high standards and receive help and support with industry challenges.
