AXREM Member Jack Bond from EIZO Takes on Virtual Mount Fuji Challenge in Support of Action for Children
12 August 2025
AXREM is proud to spotlight Jack Bond of EIZO, who is lacing up his running shoes for a cause close to AXREM’s heart. Jack has signed up to complete the Virtual Mount Fuji Challenge, a 74km (46-mile) journey inspired by Japan’s most iconic peak, all in support of Action for Children, AXREM’s Charity of the Year.
Starting on 30th August with the Henley River Half Marathon as a warm-up, Jack aims to complete the challenge by 4th September, aligning with the 1 Million Steps Challenge, a national initiative promoting physical activity and wellbeing. His goal? To raise awareness and support for vulnerable children and families across the UK. Only Jack’s dedicated running activities count towards the 74km. Dog walks and general steps do not count!
“Mount Fuji felt like the perfect fit,” said Jack. “It connects beautifully with EIZO’s Japanese heritage and adds a meaningful layer to the challenge. There’s also a surprise company related theme woven into the journey… but I’ll keep that under wraps for now!”
Participants in the virtual challenge receive digital postcards along the route, adding a touch of immersive adventure, minus the steep incline! Jack’s challenge also includes an environmental twist: he’ll have the option to plant 20 trees or prevent 50 plastic bottles from entering the ocean, reinforcing AXREM’s commitment to sustainability and social impact.
AXREM CEO, Sally Edgington shared their support: “Jack’s initiative is a brilliant example of how our members bring purpose and passion to everything they do. By combining personal wellness, corporate heritage, and charitable impact, Jack is helping us shine a light on the vital work of Action for Children. We’re proud to stand behind him every step of the way.”
Jack’s journey reflects the spirit of AXREM’s community: driven, creative, and deeply committed to making a difference. We’ll be cheering him on, and eagerly awaiting that surprise reveal!
