TAF, the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) and the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) have joined forces to champion the role of women in trade associations, celebrating their achievements and encourage the next generation of women into the association sector. TAF, FSB and CBI are proud to be led by strong female champions and to be supported in their respective organisations by brilliant women at all stages of their careers. It is their shared ambition to support their own staff and other inspirational women in trade associations, to be powerful advocates for diversity and inclusion in their sectors and more widely to support and encourage female business leaders and entrepreneurs.

I have worked hard on improving the diversity and inclusion in AXREM over the last 5 years and am pleased that we have more women engaged and in key roles within the association, than ever before”.

I nominated Sue for the member contribution list, because she has been really engaged in AXREM’s work since taking on her role and has become a key member of the AXREM Executive Committee. Sue has also helps on working groups to expand AXREM’s work and reach and her expert knowledge is valuable in many areas of our work. I look forward to continuing to work with inspiring women like Sue for many more years to come”.
