New PACS RIS Convenor/ Chair announced

Following many years as Convenor for the PACS RIS Special Focus Group for AXREM, John Victor recently announced he would be stepping down due to leaving his role with Philips.
After several volunteers came forward and a membership vote was conducted, we can now announce that Bob Childe, National Sales Manager for Soliton IT will be the new PACS RIS Special Focus Group Convenor/ Chair.
Bob has over 27-years of management experience within RIS/PACS and Radiology markets, bringing significant sector experience to both Soliton IT and the Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging community. His knowledge of the NHS sales process, including contract, tender and bid management adds valuable industry proficiencies and skillsets. Bob manages the Soliton IT global Sales operation, including Contracts, Business Development, Partner Management and Marketing.
Bob said “I’m delighted with the appointment and looking forward to supporting both AXREM and the Radiology IT vendor community”.
AXREM PACS RIS group supports and represents members of the healthcare IT supplier industry who provide most of the diagnostic medical imaging IT installed in UK hospitals. Our member companies and their employees work side by side with Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers and Clinicians to enable them to deliver advanced healthcare to patients.
