AXREM Member Aidan Pearce Runs 50K for Charity of the Year: Action for Children

Aidan Pearce Training Run for 50km run for action for children

AXREM is proud to spotlight the incredible fundraising efforts of affiliate member Aidan Pearce, founder and principal recruiter at Ellew Headhunters, who is lacing up his running shoes for a cause close to his heart.

To mark his milestone 50th birthday, Aidan has signed up for the Run to the Sea ultramarathon, a scenic yet challenging 50 kilometre event taking place on October 4th, starting at Moors Valley Country Park in Dorset and finishing at the stunning Hengistbury Head in Bournemouth.

Aidan Pearce said of his challenge “I wanted to do something meaningful to celebrate turning 50. It felt like a missed opportunity not to raise money for charity, and since I was keen to support a children’s charity, AXREM’s partnership with Action for Children was the perfect fit.”

Action for Children, AXREM’s Charity of the Year, works tirelessly to support vulnerable children and young people across the UK providing safe homes, mental health support, and brighter futures.

Aidan’s fundraising run not only reflects his personal commitment to giving back but also amplifies AXREM’s wider mission to champion social impact across the MedTech sector.

AXREM CEO, Sally Edgington added, “We’re incredibly proud of Aidan’s dedication and heart. His decision to turn a personal milestone into a moment of collective impact is a fabulous example of how our members live our values.”

Let’s cheer him on as he runs toward the sea and towards a better future for children who need it most.
