AXREM Partners with Rachel Picton Coaching to Support Professional Development Across the Medical Technology Sector
AXREM is delighted to announce a new partnership with Rachel Picton Coaching, bringing additional professional development and coaching support to AXREM members.
The partnership reflects AXREM’s ongoing commitment to supporting not only the organisations that supply vital medical technologies to the NHS, but also the people working within those businesses. Through the collaboration, AXREM members will gain access to exclusive benefits from Rachel Picton Coaching, with details available in the AXREM Members Benefits Brochure.
Rachel Picton is an experienced coach, leadership development specialist and senior healthcare leader with a distinguished career spanning clinical practice, NHS leadership, higher education and national professional regulation. Originally trained as a diagnostic radiographer, Rachel has worked extensively across clinical services, workforce development and system transformation, bringing a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and the challenges faced by professionals working within it.
She is currently a Strategic Health Advisor at BPP University where she has just finished being Dean of the Healthcare and Nursing School, where she led a large, multi-disciplinary portfolio of programmes across the UK and internationally, working closely with NHS organisations, regulators and industry partners to develop the future healthcare workforce. Her previous role as Dean of Allied and Community Health at London South Bank University further demonstrates her track record in delivering high-quality education, growing academic provision and driving innovation across healthcare professions. Alongside her academic leadership, Rachel has held senior roles across the NHS and regulatory bodies, including work with the Health and Care Professions Council supporting the diagnostic radiography profession, and contributing to quality assurance, professional standards and fitness to practise processes. This breadth of experience informs her coaching approach, which is grounded in real-world leadership, system complexity and professional development. This approach aligns closely with AXREM’s commitment to developing a strong, resilient and future-focused medical technology sector.
As part of the partnership, Rachel Picton Coaching will also deliver a complimentary webinar for AXREM members, providing valuable insights and practical guidance to support personal and professional development.
