AXREM is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with Amethyst Connect Ltd, a leading provider of tender compliance support and solutions, specialising in sustainability. A provider of sustainable solutions for the healthcare sector, linking Social Value, Modern Slavery Requirements and Net Zero with embedded organisational processes to winning tender bids.
This collaboration marks a significant step forward in AXREM’s mission to drive innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability across the UK’s healthcare technology landscape. Over the next 12 months, AXREM and Amethyst Connect will co-develop a series of joint activities, events, and resources designed to empower members, amplify best practice, and accelerate progress toward a more resilient and environmentally responsible future.

Sustainability is not a side initiative; it is one of AXREM’s core strategic priorities. The environmental impact of healthcare technology, from procurement to disposal, demands urgent attention and coordinated action. Through this partnership AXREM aims to support members in their journey along the NHS England Supplier Roadmap, offering solutions and guidance on how to implement the requirements in their organisations.
Further supporting members in embedding sustainability into every stage of the product lifecycle, from design and manufacturing to implementation and service delivery.
Amethyst Connect brings deep expertise in sustainability, offering practical frameworks and tools that help organisations reduce carbon emissions, improve energy efficiency, and meet evolving regulatory standards. Together, AXREM and Amethyst Connect will champion a shared vision: that innovation and sustainability must go hand in hand to deliver long-term value for patients, providers, and the planet.
