Radiotherapy Video a Patient’s Perspective

This short film was created by AXREM’s Radiotherapy Special Focus Group to support patients who are about to begin radiotherapy treatment. Featuring the personal story of Andy Tudor, who shares his experience of receiving radiotherapy for a second brain tumour, the video offers clarity, empathy, and reassurance to those facing similar journeys.

With expert insights from Dan Baines (Elekta), Stephanie Elliott (Varian), and Dave Kynaston (Brainlab), the film helps demystify what radiotherapy involves and highlights the importance of patient-centred care.

The project reflects AXREM’s commitment to collaboration, innovation, and compassion, uniting members to help patients feel informed, supported, and less alone during treatment.
