AXREM has published a position paper to provide industry input to schools and colleges for considering parents as critical workers when prioritising provision on maintaining education.

AXREM members are encouraged to distribute the document to their employees to assist in their communications with their school.

Sector guidance

Health and social care

This includes but is not limited to doctors, nurses, midwives, paramedics, social workers, care workers, and other frontline health and social care staff including volunteers; the support and specialist staff required to maintain the UK’s health and social care sector; those working as part of the health and social care supply chain, including producers and distributors of medicines and medical and personal protective equipment.

This includes AXREM members who supply the NHS directly and indirectly, with products and services that are critical to medical care and the diagnosis of Covid-19.

This covers businesses that supply products and equipment and install, commission, maintain and service equipment that is critical to the function of healthcare.

About AXREM

AXREM is the UK trade association representing the interests of suppliers of diagnostic medical imaging, radiotherapy, healthcare IT and care equipment in the UK.
