UKIO 2026

Putting humanity at the centre of healthcare: In the age of the machine, which will take place on 8-10 June at the ACC Liverpool.

Come back to Liverpool for UKIO 2026

Placing the human experience at the heart of healthcare

This year’s theme will focus on how we ensure – as technology rapidly transforms the face of healthcare – we continue to place the human experience at the heart of it – both patients and the teams who deliver diagnosis, treatment, and care.

As the UK’s largest imaging and oncology event, UKIO will continue to be the place to come for cutting-edge, practice-based content for a multidisciplinary audience, to join up with like-minded professionals, to gain up to three days of CPD, and to visit a large professional exhibition of the latest state-of-the-art equipment, services and technology.

  • 3 days of CPD and education – A programme developed by an expert multidisciplinary working party.
  • High profile speakers – An exciting plenary programme and speakers you might only see at UKIO.
  • Interactive sessions – Lots of hands-on and case-based workshops.
  • Research at the heart – With proffered papers sessions, ePosters, the return of the Research hub and the Pitch your Project initiative.
  • Collaboration with industry – Curated industry sessions on innovation and technology and an Education on the Stands programme, plus an exhibition of all the key suppliers.
  • Oncology content throughout – Clinical oncology throughout the programme and further development of the radiotherapy hub.
  • DGH radiology stream – A dedicated stream for radiologists, providing all the updates needed for on call and delivering DGH radiology.
  • A new look trainee stream – A new look stream for trainee radiologists focused on exam prep.
  • Wellbeing & social – An exciting new social event and a full wellbeing programme.

Value for money CPD

Once again, we’ll deliver this with an accessible pricing structure that offers value-for-money CPD with affordable fees for full congress access and a full-access free ticket on the Wednesday, as well as exhibition-only options that can be used on any day. We’ll also be bringing back one-day ticket options to allow for more flexible attendance.
