Strengthening cyber resilience across the health and care supply chain

The cyber security threat facing the NHS and its supply chain continues to evolve, with recent incidents reinforcing the importance of strengthening resilience across the organisations that provide critical products and services to health and care.

In response, NHS England continues to deliver the Supply Chain workstream of the Cyber Improvement Programme (CIP), working in partnership with suppliers to develop a more consistent, proportionate and nationally aligned approach to managing cyber risk across the health and care supply chain.

On Tuesday 13th October, 10:00am–11:00am, AXREM will host NHS England for an update on the Supply Chain workstream of the Cyber Improvement Programme. The session will provide suppliers with a clear overview of how cyber security expectations across the health and care system are evolving, what this means in practice for supplier organisations, and how NHS England is working collaboratively with suppliers to strengthen cyber resilience while reducing unnecessary duplication.

The session will provide an update on the new Cyber TPRM Standard and the direction of travel towards a more consistent national approach to supplier assurance, including opportunities for suppliers to continue shaping the approach through ongoing engagement and feedback.

AXREM members will be encouraged to share their views to help ensure the future model remains practical, proportionate and supports both supplier resilience and the delivery of safe, reliable health and care services.
