AXREM Women’s Network: A Movement for Women in MedTech
Born from the energy and inspiration of our International Women’s Day event in March 2025, the AXREM Women’s Network is a bold and inclusive initiative designed to unite, uplift, and empower women across the MedTech sector.
Our Origins
The idea for the network was sparked at our unforgettable International Women’s Day celebration held at the Florence Nightingale Museum at St Thomas’ Hospital in London. Surrounded by stories of pioneering women in healthcare, our members and guests shared powerful reflections, challenges, and aspirations and a clear call emerged: we need a dedicated space to continue these conversations and drive real change.
Our Launch
On 11th March 2026, we will proudly launch the AXREM Women’s Network in the Houses of Parliament, a symbolic and strategic setting that reflects our commitment to visibility, influence, and progress. The event will bring together AXREM members, NHS leaders, industry stakeholders, and allies to mark the beginning of a movement that champions equity, connection, and leadership for women in MedTech.
Who We Are

- Allies and advocates across healthcare and industry
Together, we form a vibrant community committed to:
- Creating a safe, inclusive space to talk openly
- Sharing industry knowledge, lived experiences, and sector challenges
- Celebrating achievements and amplifying women’s voices
- Building a real movement for change in MedTech
How We Meet
The network will convene at least twice per year, with mainly in-person gatherings to ensure accessibility and impact. Each meeting will offer opportunities for:
- Thought-provoking discussion and peer support
- Sector insights and leadership development
- Collaboration on advocacy and action

Women in MedTech bring innovation, resilience, and brilliance to every corner of the sector, yet too often, their voices go unheard. The AXREM Women’s Network is here to change that. We’re not just creating a group; we’re building a movement. One that fosters belonging, drives progress, and ensures that women are not only present, but leading the future of healthcare technology.
