Indemnity – product trial or equipment loans

Important news: Following the transition of the functions of the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency, the provision and management of Master Indemnity Agreements will cease from 1 February 2010. Suppliers will be notified of this and given 3 months notice that all agreements will terminate on 30 April 2010 as per clause 12 of the NHS Form Indemnity – A.

No new suppliers will be added to the list as of 1 February 2010, and users of existing agreements should undertake new arrangements with suppliers directly. The existing forms can be used for this purpose but will be managed directly between supplier and user.

For any agreements where the supplier’s insurance expires before 30 April 2010 (see indemnity form register), users and suppliers should put their new arrangements in place by the time of expiry as we will not be managing any renewals. NHS PASA will notify suppliers in this position.
